Archangel Raphael Healing Meditation

Last night I told a friend I wasn't feeling well, and without skipping a beat, he suggested that I pray to Archangel Raphael for healing. It's not a practice I'm familiar with, but it could be good. I found this short meditation, and I've been visualizing being surrounded and permeated with green healing light. Maybe I'll try a different one tonight. There are a lot of them.

Speaking of Green, Go Eagles!

I hope this isn't too divisive, but I'm originally from Philly. This means that while I don't follow football closely, if the Eagles make it to the Super Bowl, I'll probably watch some of the game. I was thrilled to introduce the boy to the sport. I don't think he's watched a pro sports game before. I was happy to be able to point out that members of the different teams were friendly to each other beforehand. This may be an intense game, but they're all friends.

Anyhow, the Eagles absolutely trounced the Chiefs. As my Psychedelic Frendly Football Coach Friend said, "One team came to play, and the other one didn't." The economy of language in the football world is unmatched. After the game, there was footage of the Eagle's QB sitting on the floor with the trophy, smoking a cigar, and listening to the following song. It's a good song.

Nature-based Psychedelic Integration​
Nature connection is recommended for psychedelic preparation and integration, but what does that look like? I’m developing a nature-based approach that’s rooted in ecopsychology. In this talk I’ll outline eight key principles for psychedelic preparation and integration. I’ll then describe the specific ways that Nature-based Integration can deliver all of these essentials. I’ll share a simple exercise that provides a calming and expanded state of awareness.

Nature-based Integration works on three levels: It provides access to an expanded state which parallels the psychedelic experience; this occurs within a context that heightens cognitive capacity, thus facilitating sense-making and engendering mental well-being.

Dr Adrian Harris is an ecopsychologist, psychotherapist and psychedelic integration coach. He's been involved with ecotherapy for nearly twenty years and is Lead Editor of the 'European Journal of Ecopsychology'. Adrian has been taking psychedelics since his early 20’s. He joined the Synthesis Institute as Director of Ecopsychology in 2020 and subsequently became a Learning Mentor on their first Psychedelic Practitioner Training. He was contracted as a Retreat Facilitator with Synthesis until February 2023. He is a Guest Lecturer on the 'PGCert Psychedelics: Mind, Medicine, and Culture' at the University of Exeter and a member of the University’s clinical research team.
